Well folks, I’m off to try and go to work again. It was pretty good on Tuesday day, with most of the snow and ice melting in the one degree above freezeing sunlight, the WADOT getting the major thoroughfares sanded, making them passable, and there was no new accumulation of snow.
Today wasn’t as kind. While it never got above freezing, at in my neighborhood, and there was again no new accumulation, I doubt it was much warmer in Seattle proper. Though unlike yesterday, my employer did get some drivers into work and some business was done. I will have a grand total of two drivers rolling tonight, so hopefully we’ll get a little of the backlog knocked down.
Unfortunately, the forcast calls for more snow tonight. And even better than that, it is supposed to warm slightly until the snow becomes….wait for it….Freezing Rain!
So I’ll be taking my camera with me this time and if I can get some decent pics, I shall post them tomorrow.
