Linkage, Schminkage: Day 3

Let’s dump some links!

DANEgerus has the goods on the eco-socialists denial of the scientific fact that despite Bush being President, the air is cleaner in the US of A than when Clinton was CIC. To the eco-socialists, Bush is eevviill and he must have forced the EPA to botch the results.

King County Executive, Ron “Tax to the Max” Sims, breaks his own personal best record as to how far he can stuff his head up his ass, and it is chronicled in this article.

If you’ve ever flown into the Seattle metro area, you very most likely landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). But Seattle has an international grade airport all to itself where very few passenger flights land, but the majority of the cargo does. If you have ever visited the local Museum of Flight, you have been there. It is called Boeing Field.

The County of King owns said airport and, in the past, has fought quite vigorously to keep it out of the hands of the City of Seattle and their Port Authority. But no longer. In fact, it seems as though Sims wants to dump it as fast as he can, despite the predicted skyrocketing revenue said facility will bring in over the next couple decades as Sea-Tac exceeds capacity yet again.

He wants to trade a money making enterprise for…wait for it…a old, out of use rail line that he can turn into a walking trail.

That bump in his throat isn’t his adams apple, its his nose.

Have you ever put up a yard sign for a candidate? Did you know that, at least in Washington, it is a crime for someone other than yourself to remove or deface it before election day?

One local politician does now. Of course, its a Democrat.

48th District State House candidate, Deb Eddy, removed “numerous” signs belonging to her opponent, Republican, Bret Olsen, and has admitted to the crime; a Class B felony theft charge, among others.

She was hoping to not get caught stealing yard signs so that she could get the chance to steal my tax dollars.
