For those who have it, the Military Channel is debuting their new series “My War Diary” this weekend (actually 2100 last night is when I DVR’d it), check your local listings for times. Local KVI 570 talk show host, and and Washington Army National Guard Lieutenant, Brian Suits, took may hours of film while serving in Iraq in 2004/2005 and some of it is included in this premier episode.

Suits also has some footage you won’t see on said episode up at YouTube. The first is this one.

At just under six minutes long, it is a montage film of him and his guys around Baghdad with tunage.

And for just the sheer entertainment value of it, here is another flick he’s got there of two guys stuffing three sheep into the the back of a VW Passat AFTER one of them gets of a city bus with the sheep.

Of course, because they’re US servicemen, there is a NSFW language warning. But if you’re at work today, you’re either hardcore into what you do or you need a life. So order the kids out of the room and click away.

And then check your listings for the news show. If you don’t get The Military Channel, you can see them on the Discovery Channel next weekend, from what I understand.
