If I Were Them

I wouldn’t be publishing this

As Josh Kraushaar notes over at The Hotline blog, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America is going on the air with a $500,000 television and radio ad buy in five competitive districts in which GOP incumbents are facing stiff challenges from the Democrats.

The ads, which you can watch and listen to here, hammer Republicans Chris Chocola of Indiana, Deborah Pryce of Ohio, Charles Taylor of North Carolina, Heather Wilson of New Mexico and Don Sherwood of Pennsylvania for their ties to big pharmaceuticals and oil companies.

Because the people like trial lawyers more than they like other lobbying groups.

We have them here and I was suprised that they are so blatant–not even trying to hide their identity. The ads are the usual silly drivel. On both radio and tv, I’ll be glad when this season is over.

The worst part is that we have advanced 40 years into the past with our new paper ballots.

You don’t unnerstand trial lawyers. When they post the two-second fine print at the end of the ad, it will NOT mention lawyers at all. They will refer to themselves as , “The Committee to tell you the whole truth Committee”, or some such nonsense.
