Just like the Artist Formerly Known as Prince who is known as Prince again’s mother, the left is never satisfied.
When Mel Gibson went on his raodside anti-Jew rant the entirety of the left wing went and tried to use that as proof that because Gibson was supposedly closer to the right than the left (because he has religious convictions), the right was anti-Semetic (even though Bush’s involvement in the Middle East was because of his belief that we needed to support Israel to bring on the Rapture).
But now, when 80 some-odd members of the Hollywood elite (most of whose names even I recognize) put out a letter of support for Israel and actaully called Hama and Hezbollah to the carpet, members of the American left are starting a letter writing campagn to the signers of last week’s letter in protest.
The right has it’s own gaggle of insipid letter capaigns, but good lordy, at least they’re consistent.

Btw, yes, I know the title and lead line were long, draw out stretches and the extensive paretheses were a bit much, but I gave up trying to bring teh funny at around 4am this morning.
