Washington state transportation secretary can’t drive
Washington state Transportation Secretary Doug MacDonald can’t drive.
He told a meeting last night in Everett that he has been unable to renew his driver’s license because he failed his eye exam three times.
Now, I don’t fault the guy too much because having diabetes for nearly three decades will do that to you, but I though of it as somewhat symbolic of our local lack of sight on transportation issues in Washington State.
