Yesterday’s big story that broke shortly before i went to sleep was that a high ranking CIA official was fired for leaking the story about ‘Secret US Prisons in Europe’.
I would have preferred the word “Arrested” instead of “Fired”, but I’m not in charge.
But in the alternate universe that is the “Reality Based Community”, that story barely got a mention, especially at the dKos, where it didn’t even make the front page (unless you count the Kluless Kos Kids calling Mary McCarthy a “Couragous CIA Whistleblower”).
What was the ‘Big Story’ over there, you ask….
“Bombshell Accusation: Rice Leaked Classified Defense Info”
Someone is accusing Condolezza Rice of acting as the leak to two AIPAC lobbyists. They haven’t said that she was the leak, and in fact federal prosecutors disputing the rumor that she is the leak, but the WaPo said it, so it must be true.
It must be nice to be that delusional.
