Okay, I’ve been really remiss in getting my Boomershoot pics online and organized. So I figure I’ll do a pic each day in June; that should take care of things. Of course, I’m already three pics behind. So here ya go. The first two pics are by RNS Staff Photographer Dave from Michigan. As always, click to embiggen.
Pic for June 1st: Boomershoot Range Officers.
I think that’s Joe’s daughter Kim at left. Not sure about the other two folks.
Notice the portable balcony seating for spectators behind them. Comfy and a great view!
Pic for June 2nd: A view of the line. Big-sky country, indeed! Note the flag at left.
Pic for June 3rd: My Flag is Bigger than Your Flag. Yep, only in Idaho — this fellow planted a full-size American flag on a flagpole mounted to his pickup bed. So the flag flew all day at Boomershoot 2008!
The one on the far right is my daughter, Arden.
The one in the middle is Karen. A friend of Barb and mine from Seattle. It was her first time at Boomershoot. She “needed to get away” and thought that blowing stuff up would get her mind off of her troubles.
