The Soundboard: Dam the Rainbow Tasters

It’s hard out there for a woman Presidential Candidate.

She’s lost 10 delegate contests in a row and only won 11 total out of a possible 36 contests.

She is running against a guy who is better at putting strings of words together that mean nothing than the man she’s married to, and this guy even has the whowhatsit to say she should drop out of the race, essentially “for the greater good”.

That same guy can’t even find a supporter, including his wife, who can name a single accomplishment he has achieved. Even his list of legislative pap is light, with lots of writing up bills, but no apparent ability to lead them into law.

She’s catching flack, and rightly so, for trying to turn his pledged delegates. And her campaign’s fight for the Michigan and Florida delegates isn’t helping her image among her party’s voters either.

So now they’ve gone and created a 527 committee whose sole purpose for existence is to run attack ads against the guy for her.

The Obamariver is at flood stage and it’ll top its banks in short order, possibly sometime tonight at the CNN debate. I’ll be watching that one because I don’t expect it will be nearly as kissy-kissy as the last one.

So we will be dedicating some tunage to her today in the interest of continuing this women’s suffering…I mean suffrage.

Dam That River – Alice in Chains

From Dirt, of course. I don’t know about y’all, but felt the need for some crunch this week.

Taste the Rainbow – Brisk & Ham

Hrmmm… not to complain about free music, but I do enjoy your tastes in electronica. The Brisk & Ham link seems to be broken. It goes to .com instead of .mp3
